To celebrate their 40th Anniversary, Lar Lubovitch Dance Company will tour the United States for the first time since 1995. Founded by one of America’s most versatile, popular and highly acclaimed choreographers, Lar Lubovitch, the company has performed in nearly all 50 American states and in more than 30 foreign countries. Their Anniversary Tour performance at Western Washington University will showcase Men’s Stories, a work featuring nine male dancers that is a powerful exploration of masculinity, biography and character. Hailed by The New York Times as “one of the ten best choreographers in the world,” Lubovitch’s work is renowned for its musicality, rhapsodic style, technicality and sophisticated formal structures.
