This year marks our third annual College of Fine & Performing Arts Education Matinee Series. During 2007-2008 we will serve nearly 4,000 children and youth through education activities designed to move, challenge and inspire. Professional artists, some of whom are featured in our 2007-2008 Performing Arts Center (PAC) Series, and pre-professional performers from College of Fine & Performing Arts departments dedicate themselves to share their knowledge and love of the arts with young audiences in our community. Educational outreach programs are central to the mission of the college because we believe that the arts nurture creativity and self-esteem, increase cultural understanding, and bring joy to our lives. The following student matinees are free to school groups, but reservations are required and are taken on a first come, first served basis.

The College of Fine and Performing Arts also offers educational outreach programming through our areas of discipline. Please visit us online to learn more about our dance, sculpture and gallery, and theatre outreach opportunities.
